Kokeshi Doll Sewing Project

It's a great feeling to finish big projects, and today I have finally completed my kokeshi doll sewing project.  I have been working on this little big project for months and months, it was one of those projects that kept evolving and getting put aside and now it's complete.  The kokeshi doll has ended up as a printed fabric panel which is a simple DIY sewing project and is suited to beginners or advanced sewers.  You can personalise your Kokeshi doll by embroidering the blossom with your choice of colours and stitches. The project is small enough to fit in your purse and the doll measures 13cm x 5.5cm when finished.  I have posted a tutorial on the blog which shows you how to make the doll and what you will need.
