Ottoman Kids Room Decor

 ottoman kids room decor

 ottoman kids room decor

Did you enjoy reading books as a child?  I remember reading Enid Blyton and being totally immersed in those wishing chair stories. These are my cheeky ottomen and they are great reading companions, ideal to lean on and read them your favourite stories, or discuss your next magical adventure.  I enjoyed making them using a lovely, soft quilted cotton, which is very tactile. They are my newest handmade creations especially for kids. You can find them at lovelui.

On My Desk

 projects on the desk

There has been lots of activity on my desk over the last few weeks and as usual I have several projects in progress.  I am enjoying the different textures and colour palettes, which are continuously evolving and inspiring me.  I made a little jumpsuit for a new toy I am currently working on,  but my biggest thrill was that it was my first attempt to felt a pre loved jumper and to reinvent the textile into this little garment.

Bohemian Batik Earrings

Once again I was distracted from what I was working on, and started looking through my collection of batik fabrics.  I cleared some room on the desk, which now has several projects in progress, and made up these simple yet beautiful sets of earrings. The earrings are grouped in sets of 8 and are available at lovelui.
